During his 14 years at Kerry Group, he served as VP and Global Head of Sales for its Applied Health & Nutrition Division, expanding commercial operations across multiple continents and growing pharmaceutical ingredient revenues nearly tenfold.

Most recently, as Head of Americas and Emerging Markets at Nuritas, Riz accelerated the global commercialization of clinically validated bioactive peptides, establishing strategic distribution partnerships and expanding market adoption across Brazil, China, and Southeast Asia, including Thailand. During his tenure, Nuritas expanded its global commercial presence, with its innovative peptides ultimately reaching more than 100 consumer products worldwide.

Earlier in his career, Riz held commercial leadership positions at Novozymes, CSL Behring, and leading pharmaceutical companies including Aventis Behring, SmithKline Beecham, and Bristol Myers Squibb. His experience spans pharmaceutical commercialization, recombinant proteins, plasma-derived therapeutics, and specialty biotechnology ingredients. A graduate of IESE Business School’s executive management program, Riz also served as an officer and pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps and Air Force.

This journey culminated in the founding of Superbrewed, driven by a vision to harness the extraordinary potential of whole microorganisms to transform human nutrition and health, which became the foundation for Superbrewed’s Whole-Cell Intelligence™ platform.

Bryan developed Superbrewed’s pioneering technology and manufacturing platforms and established strategic partnerships with global industry leaders including Döhler, Fonterra, Bel Group, and Lockheed Martin, advancing breakthrough innovations from scientific discovery to commercial-scale manufacturing and market launch.

Bryan’s deepest conviction comes from giving back and improving the quality of life of others. Having experienced firsthand the positive impact of Superbrewed’s innovations on his wife, daughter, and son, he is passionate about bringing those same possibilities to people around the world. This commitment to making a difference extends to his service on several nonprofit boards, including FAME and DESCA, which expand career opportunities for under-represented populations and support other entrepreneurs with sustainable technologies.
